Valley Thunder’s flag football season is nearing its start! Registration is now open. Flag football will run from early April through the end of May or early June. We have an exciting twist for middle school this year! Middle school team – Our middle school team will compete in a league with local private schools. We will have a 6 game schedule with 2 games each against 3 schools. We will follow the 7 vs 7 flag football rules.
Practices will begin in early April and games will begin in the second half of April.
The middle school team is available for ages 10 through 14.
High school team – Our high school teams will operate similar to last year, which is an intramural approach. There does not appear to be other schools to compete against so we will look to form multiple
5 vs 5 teams. We plan to use a similar timeframe as the middle school team.
The high school team is available for ages 15 through 18. Developmental – We will consider developmental flag football for ages 5 to 9. This will depend on the level of interest and also on volunteers willing to assist.Speaking of volunteers, we’re always looking for more help! We could use help for the coaches and also to referee games.Registration is $65. Registration includes a shirt for each player.
